Letter to the Inter-Party Committeein which they propose to replace the last sectionwhich includes direct placement of political leaders, with a free question from the journalists asked the journalists of the six nationwide television channels who met today Thursday at the ERT radio station in order to determine the details of the political leaders’ debate
“The journalists who participate in the Debate agreed and we propose to replace the last section that includes direct placement of the political leaders on camera, with free questioning of the journalists as it usually happens until now. In this way, all six journalists will be given the opportunity to ask questions of all the leaders. Please also let us know the order in which the political leaders will respond by thematic section” the relevant letter states.
The thematic sections of the debate will be the following:
1) Economy, Development, Employment
2) Foreign policy and Defense
3) State, Institutions, Transparency
4) Health, Education and Welfare State
5) Environment and Energy
After the end of the meeting, the six journalists were given a tour of the newsroom, the news control and of course Studio 4, which is already being set up appropriately for the debate that will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at 9:00 p.m.
The meeting took place in the office of the general director of Information, Fotis Kafarakis, with the participation of the director of News and Information Broadcasts, Yiannis Troupis. ERT journalist and coordinator of the telefight George Kouvaras and the journalists – in alphabetical order – Mara Zachareas (STAR), Sia Kosioni (SKAI), George Papadakis (ANT1), Antonis Schroiter (ALPHA), Panagiotis Stathis (OPEN), Rania Jima (MEGA).
