The prime minister seems to put an end to the scenarios of a possible cooperation with PASOK with his interview in “Kathimerini” on Sunday.

“Mr. Androulakis’s PASOK seems to be returning to the old logic of statism. Therefore, I don’t have many things to discuss with him,” emphasizes Mr. Mitsotakis and attributes to the president of PASOK-Movement of Change, a personal obsession against him and an alliance with SYRIZA.

If the numbers come out, he will try to find them with Mr. Tsipras. It is clear that Mr. Androulakis’s PASOK is close to SYRIZA and PASOK voters should know this. If the numbers come out, then they may see Mr. Tsipras return from the window with their own vote,” says Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

He insists that the only proposal for governance is the self-reliance of the New Democracy and characterizes the cooperation scenarios proposed by the president of SYRIZA as “unconscionable”.

“We have kept society afloat, without jeopardizing the fiscal balance. We are one step before investment grade. What do they have to say, the various “illuminati” who every three or so see a diversion?” he wonders.

He estimates that the first major goal at the national level is to reach the investment level.

He summarizes that rating agencies and markets are waiting to see the outcome of the election and in particular whether we will continue with reforms or return to past practices.

“This is also reflected in the exhibitions of international houses in the past days”, he says.

Regarding Greek-Turkish relations, with the Turkish elections taking place tomorrow, Mr. Mitsotakis emphasized that he is open to talking with whomever the Turkish citizens choose, while underlining that we must be ready for better but also for more difficult days.

“We have the door of dialogue open”
