On Sunday, Nikos Androulakis gave his first speech to the elected and candidate MPs of PASOK, as well as to the members of the Central Political Committee and the secretariats of the prefectural committees and sectors of PASOK, after the elections, in a central hotel in Athens.

Assessing the election result, the president of PASOK-KINAL set the framework in which the party will move in the second elections on June 25.

“I pledge to the new generation of our country that our primary struggle will be to create the opportunities they deserve. The blue map is not a product of New Democracy’s offer to the Greek people. It is a result of the manner and style of the SYRIZA opposition.

“I ask the Greek people to give us the strength, so that we can be the strong, reliable progressive force that will face the maintenance and stagnation that Mr. Mitsotakis’ system of power represents.

“We do not seek to perpetuate problems, just to exist. Nor do we fashion parallel worlds of bliss with the money of the next generations, as populists do with the tie to buy time in power.

Let’s convince even more citizens that voting for PASOK is socially and politically useful. That it is the weapon of many, to make their lives better, fairer. So that they can safely plan their future in an uncertain and turbulent world” emphasized, among others, Nikos Androulakis.
