PASOK’s representative continues the fight against New Democracy and its representative Akis Schertsos, Dimitris Manzos.

Mr. Manzos responds to her comments SW about the financial program of PASOK, stressing that the blue faction is interested in the offspring – heirs and burdens all the rest with unfair taxes.

In more detail, the statement of his representative PASOK:

“Ultimately, who are Mr. Skertsos and New Democracy interested in?

With what they say and what they do, they certainly do not care about the vast majority of wage earners, pensioners, small and medium entrepreneurs, freelancers, farmers and young people.

The New Republic made sure to load them with the most unfair taxes, the indirect taxes, taking from their pockets and putting in the state coffers an additional 5 billion euros with the explosion of accuracy.

Thus, it drastically reduced the purchasing power and affected the standard of living of Greek families.

Thus he removed the necessary resources from the welfare state, discrediting public hospitals and public education.

At the same time, New Democracy is attacking PASOK to protect the offspring, who will acquire tax-free property of millions of euros and the large shareholders with dividends of hundreds of thousands of euros.

Let’s not forget that for four years it serves the same interests as the direct assignments of 10 billion euros, directly damaging the public interest.

They are really expressed and the New Democracy is interested in them, as it leaves the employees burdened with tax rates, which reach and exceed 40%.

It is indicative that even the announcement of Mr. Mitsotakis on the taxation with a rate of 90% of the excess profits in the retail of electricity suppliers, HAS NOT SO FAR been collected.

No coincidence, of course.

As far as Mr. Skertsou’s questions are concerned today, let us remind him that the financing of the VAT on food and the VAT on fuel must be done from the 5 billion in excess revenue paid by the Greek citizens.

Finally, the continuing refusal of New Democracy to restore the EKAS for 350,000 low-pensioners, who even live below the poverty line, is shameful.
