The two-day informal meeting of EU Foreign Ministers (Gymnich), organized in Brest by the French Presidency of the EU Council, ended today, on the sidelines of which Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias had meetings with his counterparts. “At the informal Foreign Affairs Council, we discussed the threats against EU member states in the region and how violations of international law and disputes over their sovereignty should be addressed,” Nikos Dendias said in a post on social media.
Besides, this morning Nikos Dendias participated in a working breakfast with his counterparts from the European People’s Party.
Also on the sidelines of the two-day informal meeting he had meetings with the Foreign Ministers of Austria, Alexander Schallenberg, Estonia, Eva-Maria Liimets and Lithuania, Gabrielius Gabris.
Following yesterday’s talks on the security situation in the EU’s Eastern Neighborhood, today’s 2nd working day focused on EU-China relations.
