Nikos Androulakis, president of PASOK-KINAL, began his speech in Tripoli with a warm message of condolence for the death of our great composer, Yiannis Markopoulos.

Mr. Androulakis asked the citizens to take matters into their own hands, to send strong messages through the ballot box and not to succumb to false dilemmas and blackmail.

He launched an attack on both Mr. Mitsotakis and Mr. Tsipras. Our duty, and goal is “to make the faction stronger, to increase our parliamentary power”. “At the beginning of PASOK-KINAL – he said – is a modern social state with public health and education”.

Among the priorities he put the demographic issue, the reduction of insurance contributions, the reinstatement of the new EKAS, the abolition of the personal dispute and the provisions for disability pensions and an increase in the salaries of civil servants

Mr. Androulakis said that two laws will be passed for universal protection of the first home and agricultural land. Regarding the 120 installments to tax and EFKA, he said that it will be for everyone. He also pledged that an amendment would be tabled to increase the maternity allowance.

Finally, he asked for support in the elections of June 25 for the new course of PASOK-KINAL, which was drawn up after the doubling of the percentage in the first electoral contest.
