ND and Kyriakos Mitsotakis personally must expel Spilios Kriketos from their party’s ballots here and now.
SYRIZA is requesting the expulsion of the ND candidate for parliament, Spilios Kriketos, from the party’s ballots on the occasion of his statements, which, as he characterizes in his announcement, constitute “recitals of inhumanity”.
The announcement of the Press Office of SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance in detail
“The ND parliamentary candidate, Spilios Kriketos, indulged in a recital of inhumanity. In the racist rant he spewed, he was not ashamed to claim, in essence, that the dead refugees in Pylos, if they had survived, “would have stolen”, “wouldn’t have worked” and would have hung around in Omonia.
Specifically, the ND candidate in Eastern Attica, in an interview (Kontra) was asked if “those people who drowned off Pylos, if they arrived in our country, would they steal, not work and stay 15 in a studio apartment?”.
Spilios Kriketos, undeterred, gave the shocking answer: “The previous ones who had come, who didn’t drown, what did they do? That’s what they do.”
Earlier he had claimed about the refugees that “most of them are involved in thefts every day and the police stations are full”.
ND and Kyriakos Mitsotakis personally must expel Spilios Kriketos from their party’s ballots here and now.
If they don’t, it means they agree wholeheartedly with his candidate’s vomiting racist delusion. That they are the political sponsors of inhumanity.
Shame.”
