He thus proves, once again, how shallow is the self-criticism he allegedly made after May 21, as he continues monotonously repeating the same opposition tactics that led him to 20%, Mr. Skertsos said.
SYRIZA seeks to target the country for every international crisis in the absence of a programmatic reason, says the press representative of the National Democratic Party, Akis Skertsos, in a statement, while adding that “for the New Democracy, the only opponent is the problems of the citizens, which cannot be distinguished in blue, green or red. It’s not the opposition.”
Mr. Schertsou’s announcement in detail:
The desperation of SYRIZA but, above all, the poverty of programmatic, positive discourse, push it to target our country for every international crisis, for every international problem. The limits of his political understanding of world problems are so narrow and, unfortunately, so old, that for every calamity that happens in the world, Kyriakos Mitsotakis is to blame.
Thus, after the “Mitsotakis pandemic”, the “Mitsotakis war” and the “Mitsotakis precision”, today Mr. Tsipras tried to convince us that there is also a “Mitsotakis shipwreck”, attributing to New Democracy and its President even the tragic maritime accident that happened a few days ago in international waters by unconscious criminal smugglers, without any involvement of the Greek authorities.
He thus proves, once again, how shallow is the self-criticism he allegedly made after May 21, as he continues monotonously repeating the same opposition tactics that led him to 20%.
This perhaps also explains why he missed another opportunity in today’s cross-channel interview, and instead of presenting his own program – which he allegedly could not communicate properly – he again spent time attacking New Democracy and its President.
He added, of course, in his pre-election anxiety for the further collapse of SYRIZA, another left-wing “pearl”… As an advocate of simple proportionality, he revealed to us that he sees a multi-party Parliament as a danger. In other words, he discovers in retrospect, and always with a long delay, what he should have thought before locking the country in an electoral system that reinforces political instability and party fragmentation.
For the New Democracy, the only adversary is the citizens’ problems, which cannot be distinguished in blue, green or red. It is not the opposition. It is not Mr. Tsipras. That’s why on June 25th we leave behind those who say “no to everything” and “yes to nothing” and move forward firmly, boldly, for the necessary leaps in the state, in health, in education, in digitization, in energy autonomy , in the armoring of the borders, which will bring us closer to an even stronger and European Greece
