As one “critical battle” during which his party aspires to become a great democratic faction, the president of PASOK – KINAL Nikos Androulakis characterized the elections of June 25, speaking in the morning on the show of Pavlos Tsimas on SKAI 100.3.
As he said, “there is no need to spend four years with one of the same”, adding that the ND made “a mess of institutions, health and the economy” and for this reason he noted “it must come to an end”.
He also emphasized that the practice of “compensating the failures of the ND with the mistakes of SYRIZA” must finally stop, on the occasion of the Mantzu case.
Asked about this, Mr. Androulakis characterized the accusations as a “political toxicity that leads nowhere”.
Regarding her issue Muslim minority in Thrace, the president of PASOK emphasized that “a national issue cannot be instrumentalized for a few votes”.
In fact, he referred to 1995 when, under Andreas Papandreou, the bars fell in the villages of the Muslim minority.
“No consulate can intervene if they feel that the Greek state is on their side. This is how we will close the door to Turkey and not with mud” he noted and added that “policies must be practiced in Thrace that unite and not divide”.
Regarding the forecast for the outcome of the elections, Mr. Androulakis estimated that if “the ND has a large percentage, it will continue the extreme arrogance and the situation will get worse for the country.”
Also, the president of PASOK-KINAL accused the ND of being a “client state” and in this direction proposed the conducting an international competition for all public organizations.
