“Tonight we have every reason to smile. We endured in an unprecedented attack in the past two weeks. We defended the hope and expectation of the citizens and the citizens defended their hope, they defended the perspective that the Freedom Sail should be in the Parliament, that the Parliament should have life and that the Parliament should have citizens in it” said the Zoe Konstantopoulou president of the Freedom Sailing party, commenting on the election results.

Mrs. Konstantopoulou, whose party secured his entry into the Parliament, also emphasized that “we asked the citizens, ‘Do you want to be in the Parliament?’ and our citizens answered “yes” and I believe that seeing even more of Pleussi in the Parliament, more and more people will answer “yes” even more strongly because Pleussi will be the opposition that will not exist from any other party”.

In closing, Ms. Konstantopoulou promised the citizens “an opposition that the Parliament has never seen before”, adding that Freedom Sailing had no funding, no advertising, no “backs”, on the contrary, it faced a “relentless war”.
