The entrance of Plefsis Eleftheria into the Parliament after the election result of June 25 was not a surprise for Spyro Bibilanow a member of parliament of her party Zois Konstantopoulouwho, speaking to the Thessaloniki radio station Status 107.7, noted that he expected the party to enter the Parliament, and indeed with a larger percentage.

He emphasized that the Freedom Sailing will enter strongly and make a tough opposition. He pointed out that it is the only party that will have three artists in the seats of Parliament, which means that they will deal with culture and he himself joined, he said, mainly for that.

Asked about the issue that had been created by the change of names on the party’s ballots by Mrs. Konstantopoulou, Spyros Bibilas emphasized that everything was done very legally and accepted that this may have played a role in the loss of some voters to Freedom Sailing.

Asked to comment on the entry of far-right parties into Parliament, he pointed out that this shows a deep crisis in the popular strata and is something that should be considered by all, ruling and opposition parties.

Spyros Bibilas also emphasized that “it’s a shame, it’s sad” that Angelos Syrigos is left out of Parliament because of the mess caused by the electoral law, while at the same time securing the parliamentary office for him.
