Konstantinos Tasoulas was elected Speaker of the Parliament earlier once again – The vote was by roll call
The presidium of the new national delegation resulting from the June 25 elections was also elected in the afternoon. President of the Parliament was elected earlier, once again, Mr Konstantinos Tassoulas, who was proposed by the ND and 249 MPs voted while 51 voted “present”.
Vice Presidents of the Parliament Yannis Plakiotakis, Giorgos Georgantas and Thanasis Bouras from ND, Olga Gerovasilis from SYRIZA, Odysseas Konstantinopoulos from PASOK-KINAL, Giorgos Lambroulis from KKE, Vassilis Viliardos from Hellenic Solution are elected. The Spartans, Victory and Freedom Sailing do not elect a vice-president, as the required number of votes was not collected. Voting was by roll call.
The voting for the vice-presidents in detail:
1st vice president Ioannis Plakiotakis was elected with 269 votes (30 present)
2nd vice-president Giorgos Georgantas 269 votes (30 present)
3rd Vice President Athanasios Bouros 269 30 present
4th Vice President Olga Gerovasili 269 30 present
5th Vice President Odysseas Konstantinopoulos 270 30
6th Giorgos Lamproulis 239 31 present
7th Petros Dimitriadis 25 votes 275 present, not elected
8th Vassilis Viliardos was elected with 256 votes and 44 present
9th Giorgos Apostolakis 39 votes was not elected
10. Michail Khourdakis of Plefsis was not elected
Regarding Tasoula’s candidacy, ND, SYRIZA, PASOK and Hellenic Solution voted in favor.
The KKE, Pleussi Eleftherias, Spartans and Niki voted “present”.
Mr. Tasoulas taking the position of president he thanked his compatriots from Ioannina who honored him with their vote and re-elected him MP.
