The Greek Prime Minister will have a meeting in Vilnius, Lithuania within the framework of the NATO Summit on July 11 and 12. Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to what the SKAI correspondent from Istanbul, Manolis Kostidis, reports, the two leaders will not have a private meetinginstead at least eight people are expected to be present at the discussion.
The persons who have “locked” and will participate in the debate are the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs, Giorgos Gerapetritis and his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan. Other possible persons expected to be present from the Greek side are the Prime Minister’s advisers, A. Bura and A. Papadopoulou, while on the Turkish side, the Spokesman and Chief Adviser to the President of Turkey, Akif Çagatay Kilic and a Turkish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, however, has not yet been determined.
During the meeting, it is considered likely that the exploratory contacts will start again in the presence of the deputy ministers in order to discuss and agree on certain things in order to advance Greek-Turkish relations.
