The PASOK-Movement for Change announcement regarding social housing
PASOK-Movement for Change, called on Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to listen more carefully to his proposals, so as not to be exposed, as he typically states in his announcement regarding the issue of social housing.
He points out again that the pool of 150,000 social housing will result from newly built houses, which will be built with funds from the Recovery Fund and adds that this will be supplemented by private houses, which will be made available for rent by their owners using tax and other incentives.
“Instead of Mr. Mitsotakis joking about the cost of the square meter, at the next European Council let him seek the expertise of his counterparts in Spain, Italy, Portugal and Austria,” he says.
The announcement:
“It would be good for the Prime Minister to listen more carefully to the proposals of PASOK – Movement for Change so as not to expose himself.
We repeat, therefore, that the pool of 150,000 social housing will result from newly built housing, which will be built with funds from the Recovery Fund.
The reservoir will be filled with private houses, which will be made available for rent by their owners using tax and other incentives.
Instead of Mr. Mitsotakis joking about the cost of the square meter, at the next European Council let him seek the expertise of his counterparts in Spain, Italy, Portugal and Austria.
Perhaps it will be useful to him, as his government included only 100 houses in the Recovery Fund, while Portugal 26,000, Italy 10,000 and Spain 20,000 houses.
