Regarding the increased number of deaths from coronavirus in recent days, the government spokesman said that he was clearly concerned about the government and again appealed to those who have not been vaccinated and those who have not taken the third dose, to do so.

He stressed that the explanations given are various, such as the percentage of the unvaccinated, the underlying diseases of the patients, the fact that some are late to go to the hospital, while as he said it is obviously related to weaknesses in the Health System.

Those who do not take a third dose in 7 months are considered unvaccinated from February 1

Mr. Oikonomou reminded that from February 1, those adults who have been vaccinated and have passed 7 months from the second dose or from the first dose to a single-dose vaccine, in order to be considered fully vaccinated, must also take the booster dose.

He called on them to be vaccinated not only to maintain their privileges but also to be shielded against severe coronavirus disease.
