The minister of the interior, Niki Kerameos, announces faster procedures and more targeted recruitment in the public sector with the help of artificial intelligence, while stating that for 2024 the number of recruitments with a ratio of 1:1 will reach 16,000, with the health sector benefiting the most .

In an interview with APE-MPE, Ms. Kerameos notes that at the core of the Prime Minister’s announcements at the TIF will be the specialization of the ND’s pre-election commitments with measures to support society and with the continuation of reforms, in areas such as Health, Public Administration and Justice.

He states that the horizontal expansion of the productivity bonus in the public sector and the revision of the annual action plans of the ministries are underway, with the result that new objectives will be set based on which the executives of the agencies will be evaluated.

Finally, it refers to the main characteristics of the promoted changes in the selection system for supervisors, as well as to the interventions aimed at combating bureaucracy and especially for the evaluation of public services by citizens.
