The announcement of the candidate for the presidency of SYRIZA-PS Stefanos Kasselakis in detail
“The media that are looking for shadows in my clean life, let them continue their investigative work, because public figures must be controlled. But honestly, with normal, not with misleading information”, declares Stefanos Kasselakisresponding to a publication of “Protou Thematos” about his professional career.
The candidate for the presidency of SYRIZA-PS also points out: “Just as honestly, let them do a report on the accuracy that plagues the citizens. A report on the spot, in Evros, which is also Greece, and which within 16 days the Mitsotakis government wiped it off the map”.
Stefanos Kasselakis’ announcement in detail
In the Sunday issue (3/9) of “PROTOU THEMATOS” the malicious attack against Stefanos Kasselakis escalates. In today’s episode they attempt to portray him as inadequate and unsuccessful in his career path. Specifically, the publication states that Mr. Kasselakis was fired from both Goldman Sachs and Tiptree.
Because, as he himself has stated “nothing will be left unanswered and undocumented”, the truth is the following:
1. Regarding the alleged dismissal from GS, on March 17, 2014 and while working for it, Mr. Kasselakis was accepted by MIT for graduate studies in business administration (see attachment No. 1). For his admission to the leading University he received letters of recommendation from his superiors at Goldman Sachs. His departure from GS was made in order to continue higher studies in the above subject.
2. With regard to his alleged dismissal from Tiptree, on 13 January 2023 he was asked to waive his claims against the company for his agreed and unpaid fees. Because Mr. Kasselakis refused to “adjust” his demands, Tiptree came back on 16.01.2023 with a new tempting proposition/offer of cooperation, which consisted of assigning him a new expanded multi-million dollar investment project. It is clarified that this proposal was also made in the context of the out-of-court discussions of the two sides regarding his earnings. Since Mr. Kasselakis rejected this proposal as well, on March 13, 2023, he filed a lawsuit before the American courts for the termination of his cooperation with Tiptree (see attachment No. 2).
Regarding the above, Mr. Kasselakis stated:
“The media that are looking for shadows in my clean life, let them continue their investigative work, because public figures must be controlled. But honestly, with normal, not misleading information.
And just as honestly, let them make a report on the accuracy that plagues the citizens.
A report on the spot, in Evros, which is also Greece, and which within 16 days the Mitsotakis government wiped it off the map.”
