Party sources note that there will be no visit, no meeting with the TIF administration, no speech in the framework of the Exhibition, but only a press conference “to prevent the attempt to silence the Opposition Officer”, for which SYRIZA blames Kyriakos Mitsotakis .
On Friday at 1:30 p.m. the president of the SYRIZA PS Committee, Sokratis Famellos, will hold a press conference in Thessaloniki.
Party sources note that there will be no visit, no meeting with the TIF administration, no speech in the framework of the Exhibition, but only a press conference “to prevent the attempt to silence the Opposition Officer”, for which SYRIZA blames Kyriakos Mitsotakis .
It is recalled that during his statement to the Parliament yesterday, Mr. Famellos spoke of “unacceptable methods” that the government has used in TIF, stating that “it is proof that you do not respect ethics, democracy, or criticism” and that “you do not we’ll let it go like that.” He said that the Prime Minister “despite the fact that there were days available”, “chose to go with ‘so I want’ on Saturday which was the day of the Official Opposition – something time-honored.” And it did not allow us, under the responsibility of the administration of the Exhibition, to address the productive bodies, but also the society of the country. Such tools of anti-democratic methods cannot be tolerated even in Thessaloniki and that is clear. Therefore, SYRIZA will address the institutions of Thessaloniki, it will address the society of Thessaloniki, it will address the country, because we must highlight your own inadequacies. Because we must, beyond your methods, show that there is a proposal, there is a way out, but there is also a danger.”
It is recalled that this Thursday at noon, at 1:30 p.m., ahead of the 87th International Exhibition of Thessaloniki, Mr. Famellos will hold a meeting with the production operators at the “Makedonia Pallas” hotel.
