The President of PASOK-Movement for Change visited Corinth on Saturday morning, Nikos Androulakisand the candidate regional governor of Peloponnese, Dimitris Koutsoulis.

In his statements, Mr. Androulakis wished good success to the candidate with the support of PASOK-Movement of Change, noting among other things that “this is a new person, a new scientist who adorns the effort we are making for a self-government close to the citizen. For a self-government, which will not be the “long hand” of Maximos throughout Greece. For a self-administration of regional development and decentralization”.

“In the upcoming elections, the Greek people have the opportunity to send a resounding message to Mr. Mitsotakis. It is inconceivable that the New Democracy would harm the institutions, the transparency, the efficiency of the state.

A few days ago, a powerful businessman spoke about issues of opacity regarding a Minister of the New Democracy. And within a few hours, this Minister withdrew her legislative initiatives. Is this transparency? I am asking the Greek people.”

Referring to the replacement of ADAE members by the New Democracy-Hellenic Solution partnership, Mr. Androulakis pointed out the need to publish the relevant gazette overnight to prevent the meeting of the independent authority with the object of imposing a fine on the EYP.

“In cooperation with Velopoulos, they changed members of the authority to prevent this case. Is this a normal European state?’ he wondered and added regarding the failure of the “staff state”: “And now that we are talking, there is a health bomb in Thessaly. Citizens are sinking into despair. We were told that the phenomenon happens every four hundred years and, the day before yesterday, -twenty days after the biblical disaster-, again in Volos itself.

We have a duty to fight for better days. For a better page for the Greek people. But the Greek people also have the opportunity in the municipal elections to send a message to New Democracy: So far. Power cannot be their priority and they sacrifice daily the public interest and what the Greek people want: to have efficiency, security, perspective”, Mr. Androulakis concluded.
