“Our gathering tonight is the best response to the “bullshit” that the ND government is trying to impose, apparently with the tolerance of the other parties and the assistance of the media, around the important political battle of the municipal and regional elections, which are taking place in just one week. And the even better answer will of course be the upvoting of the “People’s Rally” in Nea Ionia with the mayor Petros Alepis and in the Region with the regional governor Yiannis Protoulis” said the general secretary of the Central Committee of the KKE, Dimitris Koutsoubas in his greeting at the political gathering in S. Ionia on Saturday night.

D. Koutsoubas said that the “bullshit” they are trying to impose “says in principle, that they are afraid of confrontation, because they are exposed, because they know that it will be difficult to convince”.

“The ND government does not want to express itself to its elected officials in the municipalities and regions, the anger and indignation that exists in a large part of the people for the anti-popular actions of its new government term of just three months, which was not a few already” he said, referring to “the enormous precision, the fixed wages at a time when profits and tax revenues are breaking records, the further legalization of the labor jungle with the 13 hours of work brought about by the Georgiadis law, but also about the new attack they are launching on small professionals ».

“Anger and indignation because the whole of Thessaly, Sterea, sank into the mud, Evros, Rhodes, Corfu, Western Attica, Parnitha, still smell of burning” he said characteristically.

“They are heavily exposed, and they know it, because from top to bottom, governments, municipalities and regions, throughout time implement the criminal policy that sacrifices the protection of public property, the natural environment, and even human life on the altar of profit. They made their flag the policy that considers unnecessary any project that does not promise profits to the big business groups, that cannot work with the so-called “reciprocity”, that is, with taxes on the people” said D. He also said that “this “bullshit” for the municipal and regional elections is convenient, in addition to the ND, and SYRIZA and PASOK” recalling that “in many cases the candidates of the ND are also their own candidates. As in the Region of Crete and the Municipality of Piraeus where the ND has a common candidate with PASOK or in the Municipality of Peristeri where all three support the current mayor of the ND” as “the convergence between these parties on the critical central issues, at the local level Management is fully identified”.

“The municipal and regional elections next Sunday are an opportunity for all of you who have still remained in this political structure of SYRIZA, to follow the example of many who came before, who left SYRIZA, chose to join the KKE and did not they regretted it,” he emphasized.

“They did not feel betrayed even for a moment and today several of them are on the ballots of the “People’s Rally”. Let’s walk together, united on the path of honor and struggle.
