The civil war inside SYRIZA is raging
Former MP Anneta Kavadias made the first public statement – reaction to the “ultimatum” of Stefanos Kasselakis, that those who disagree will not be included in the party’s ballots. Mrs. Kavadias, invoking the SYRIZA statute for the selection of candidates by the party bodies in her post on social media, wonders if the bodies were abolished and at the same time points out that four days before the municipal elections, such statements by “some miscreant” will characterized as subversive.
In particular, Ms. Kavadia writes:
L’État, c’est moi?
The party, however, has organs, positions, statutes.
Were they abolished, perhaps, and we do not know it?
“Article 39 – Selection of candidate MPs and MEPs
1. The SYRIZA-PS ballots for the national elections are drawn up with an equal representation of the sexes. The selection of candidate MPs is made by decision of the Prefectural Committees after consultation with the OMs. The Central Committee has the right to reasonedly amend the choices of the Prefectural Committees with an increased majority of 70%, after having previously discussed with the Prefectural Committees. In any case, the final approval of the candidate MPs belongs to the Central Committee”.
And in any case, four days before the elections, such statements, a miscreant would call them subversive.
