During the telephone call the two leaders discussed the latest developments following the terrorist attacks by Hamas against Israel and the situation in the Gaza Strip.
The Prime Minister underlined the need to avoid a humanitarian crisis and not threaten regional stability.
At the same time, as he broadcasts the correspondent of SKAI from Istanbul, Manolis Kostidis, during their conversation they referred to human rights violations in the area. President ErdoÄŸan said that Turkey has made every effort to end this conflict process, which can have extremely negative consequences on a regional and global scale, and he said he would continue to do so.
He also stated that countries in the region should make efforts to stop conflicts and human rights violations as well as maintain peace and give a message to the world in this direction, adding that it would be right to take measures in as soon as possible which will reduce reactions, not increase them.
