Kyriakos Mitsotakis has uploaded a new video on Tik Tok, this time about the new way of selecting the administrations in hospitals and other public institutions instituted by the government.

The prime minister states that “specific filters are now introduced for the selection of new administrators: The so-called on/off criteria so that in order for someone to apply and become an administrator in a hospital, they must have something to do with the subject. Either he has studied health sciences, or he has some administrative experience.”

Mr. Mitsotakis notes that for those who pass this stage there will be a skills test which is commonly used in the private sector.

“From there on, the interview will follow and then the selection by the minister” notes the prime minister and adds:

“This process is important because for the first time we will give opportunities to many young people who previously did not have access to this management selection system to be evaluated with objective criteria.”

The prime minister also emphasizes that hospital administrators will sign performance contracts, that is, they will be able to either get bonuses if they do well, or be removed by the minister from their position if they fail.

“It is a great revolution that we are going to launch in the way of selecting administrations. It is a big bet that we can win”, emphasizes Mr. Mitsotakis.
