Open event in honor of the former prime minister Kostas Simitis is taking place at this time at the “Hellenic World Cultural Center”. It is organized by the NETWORK for Reform in Greece and Europe, the Jacques Delors Institute and Reform magazine with the support of the Delphi Economic Forum.

The event is attended by The President of the Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the leader of SYRIZA, Stefanos Kasselakis, the president of PASOK, Nikos Androulakis, ministers, parliamentarians and other political officials, personalities from the financial and academic Greek scene as well as youth representatives.

According to the program, the event is opened by the president of the Network, Anna Diamantopoulou. Videos about the life and work of the former prime minister and president of PASOKKostas Simitis will be shown, as well as video greetings from international personalities.

Afterwards, there will be a discussion with the Governor of the Bank of Greece, Mr. Yiannis Stournaras, the Professor Emeritus of the Department of Political Science & History of Panteion University, Mr. Yiannis Voulgaris and the Honorary Ambassador, Mr. Aristidis Agathoklis, moderated by the journalist, Mr. Pavlos Tsimas. The greeting of the former prime minister is expected immediately after with particular interest. It should be noted that at the beginning and at the end of the event, a video with young people from generation X and Z will be shown.
