The president of SYRIZA-PS responded positively to the invitation for dialogue and cooperation addressed to him by the president of “Pratto”
The president of SYRIZA-PS responded positively, Stefanos Kasselakisin invitation to dialogue and cooperation addressed to him by his president “I do”, Nikos Kotziasnoting that it is necessary to start the dialogue to regroup the progressive forces.
In his reply letter, Mr. Kasselakis states:
“Dear president, dear Nikos, I received your letter and thank you for the invitation you are addressing to SYRIZA-PS. I am happy, as I find that the letter is inspired by the need for unity and cooperation of all the democratic and progressive forces of the country.
SYRIZA-PS supports and promotes open dialogue and cooperation with all democratic and progressive forces, with a high sense of responsibility and commitment towards society.
At this critical historical and political juncture, it is necessary to start a dialogue to regroup the progressive forces, to find the necessary ideological convergences and perspectives, to design long-term programmatic agreements with deep faith in democratic principles and values, in terms of inclusiveness and social accountability.
Through pluralism and enlargement, the (re)composition of progressive forces will emerge, partnerships will deepen, new ideas will be produced, goals will be realized and common visions will be achieved. Above all, however, “fronts of resistance and regeneration” will be created in the face of the ongoing political, economic and social challenges at the national and international level. So that social and political change can occur and the ND government, which is destructive for the country, can be overthrown.
For these reasons I am open to dialogue and cooperation, accepting your invitation.”
