“We express our solidarity to every woman who is faced with multifaceted violence at work, in the family, in the partner relationship, in the areas of education, sports, and culture. In particular, we express our solidarity with the women of Palestine, like every people, who are experiencing the violence of the imperialist attack and occupation” said the head of the Central Committee of the KKE, Dimitris Koutsoubas, for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

“The proposals of the KKE for all-round financial, counseling and legal protection of abused women and their children respond to the insecurity they experience due to the tragic deficiencies in the corresponding network of structures. It is a challenge that their operation, their staffing with qualified staff, is considered a “cost” for the state, with the responsibility of the current government, just like the previous ones” adds D. Koutsoubas in his statement and emphasizes concluding: “Hope lies in path of overturning women’s inequality and multiform violence, in conflict with the system that reproduces them. To make every place of work, study, hive of organization and solidarity for every woman, so that she can find the strength and courage to fight for her life and her rights”.
