THE President of the Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou today at 11 am, he had a meeting with the newly elected Regional Governor of Attica Nikos Hardalia, who informed her about his priorities, in order for the self-government to respond to the challenges of the new era.
The meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere, while during the discussion that followed, Mr. Nikos Hardalias emphasized, among other things: “It’s a huge effort, a big bet, it’s not just the largest region of the country, it’s the only one in the world where half the country’s population is located and it contributes almost 48% to the GDP. The challenges are great, the stakes even greater, but with daily, hard work in the neighborhoods, everything will be fine.”

The newly elected Regional Governor of Attica Mr. Nikos Hardaliaswho considers safety a major issue in all areas responded by saying: “Safety is our main concern, safety from health hazards such as litter, safety from the average crime in our neighborhoods and safety from natural disasters. We are already discussing a number of issues with the government to put an end to all that has created arrhythmias and pathogens in the past, since the problem of overlaps is timeless, in order to be more effective and more direct in these matters.”
