Commenting on Rishi Sounak’s decision to cancel his meeting with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the Minister of Labor stated, among other things, that the opinion expressed by Kyriakos Mitsotakis it is the opinion of 11 million Greeks.
Specifically, he commented:
“I don’t want to interfere with your politics, it wouldn’t be kind to a friend. I’ll tell you again it was a bad day” the Minister of Labor initially said on the matter and continued:
“I believe that when your prime minister thinks about it again, he will understand that his Greek counterpart is an important personality. The Greek people re-elected him, they trusted him and I will be honest with you: what Kyriakos Mitsotakis said in his interview (to the BBC) is not just his opinion. It is the unique opinion held by 11 million Greeks and many more millions of people around the world.”
