“The regime for granting a residence permit does not change, the seven-year period does not change and the overall policy framework does not change. A provision is coming, which, in fact, does not come overnight. It is a provision that was introduced to the competent committee and discussed, which is what we call a one off, a one-time arrangement for people who are until November 30, 2023 in our country for at least three years and get, under the condition receiving a certificate from the employer, a residence permit for work, which can be revoked at any time, if this relationship of dependent work is terminated”, emphasized the government representative Pavlos Marinakis in an interview with the ALPHA news bulletin, answering a related question on the occasion of statement of former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras.
