“We want to serve the citizens. To create with them the national plan for the Greek dream. A plan based on a strong foreign and defense policy, on an efficient state and aimed at fair development for all,” stressed Sunday Stefanos Kasselakis in his speech at the Regional Conference of Western Macedonia of SYRIZA-PS.

“Good ideas have no party labels. We must be able to draw them from society. That’s why we are here, to listen to the citizens and to co-shape a government program” pointed out the president of SYRIZA-PS.

“SYRIZA-PS has a moral advantage. Because it is a transparent party, with a will to fight the corruption and entanglement that plagues the country, with clean hands. The national goal of fiscal stability was achieved due to the good governance of Alexis Tsipras,” he noted.

As Mr. Kasselakis mentioned, the population of the region of Western Macedonia decreased by 30,000 inhabitants within a decade, due to the flight of the youth. “The violent de-lignitization, the closing of the university departments contributed to the withering of the region of Western Macedonia”.

“The development and prosperity of the regions must be our national bet. Decentralize now,” he said.

“Today is our first regional development conference is the first step towards the drafting of a fully comprehensive development government program” added Stefanos Kasselakis.
