In the block of Livadia found today friday the Minister of Rural Development, Lefteris Avgenakis who spoke with the farmers who continue their mobilizations.

In the statements he made to the press, Mr Minister of Rural Developmenthe said: “Dialogue is the best ingredient of success, problems are always solved through discussion. I was in the Livadeia block, I spoke with farmers, representatives of trade union bodies, mayors and deputy governors about central and local issues. We renewed our appointment for after the meeting of the farmers’ coordinator with the prime minister. We will also talk to the local farmers because there are other issues” while pointing out that the fight for the primary sector is continuous.

“I am optimistic that everything will get better. The government and the prime minister are standing by the side of the farmers, finding solutions with reliability, methodicality and seriousness. We had a very useful and meaningful dialogue” concluded Mr. Avgenakis.
