Adonis Georgiadis spoke on the show “Today” on SKAI about his decision not to go to court against the actor and singer Panos Vlachos for the phrase “put Adoni and Portosalte in a bag”.
In particular, Mr. Georgiadis said “We politicians receive harsher public criticism than the rest of the people, of course what Mr. Vlachos said goes beyond the usual and I believe that he really must have regretted it, I don’t believe that he said to kill us. He is a young man and talented and does not need such publicity. An apology from him would end the matter.”
Asked if it was targeting, he said, “are we seriously talking about whether this is targeting? If an audience in the internet age comes out and says something like that?’
He then added “no one can return Greece to 2015 but nevertheless there are pockets that seek to destabilize the country such as the arrests of people with weapons and explosives who were involved in terrorism, obviously the pockets of the extreme left still exist”.
