Theodora Tzakri gives an answer to the criticism received by SYRIZA president Stefanos Kasselakis from party officials
The secretary of the SYRIZA Central Committee, Theodora Tzakri, responds to the criticism that Stefanos Kasselakis’ questionnaire received from SYRIZA officials.
As Ms. Tzakri states, “we will not hesitate to innovate, to demolish doctrines, to change ourselves, to overturn hierarchies, to pay the costs, to be worthy of the circumstances because the mere exchange of persons has never been enough in history” and she speaks of chieftains. “There is no more room left for procedural objections, nor can the ambitions of the chieftains fit into the critical moment,” he says characteristically.
In detail, the statement of Theodora Tzakri
“The times are not good
Not even six (6) months have passed since the command of the many and simple on September 24, 2023: “CHANGE EVERYTHING!”.
This order shaped the loud request of a proud place that always shouldered the salvation of the people and the homeland.
A place that often faced the hostility of the most regressive establishment with extermination attempts.
I’m talking about the democratic faction and the right!
We, who have learned in the last half century to consider the right-wing’s natural position as the time-closet, find the current landscape of right-wing dominance completely unnatural, the result of a path of continuous seven-year decline.
In the effort to revitalize SYRIZA-PS, we will not hesitate to innovate, to demolish doctrines, to change ourselves, to overturn hierarchies, to pay the costs, to stand worthy of the circumstances because the mere exchange of persons has never been enough in history.
So I appeal to all: Let’s not prevent the discussion from getting to the point. There are no blasphemous questions excluded. There is no more room left for procedural objections, nor can there be room for the ambitions of chieftains at the critical moment.”
