In a pub in central London with around 100 expatriate professionals, academics and members of SYRIZA-PS of the United Kingdom, on Sunday the Stefanos Kasselakis. Talked one on one for two hours.
In an impromptu speech of 12 minutes, the president of SYRIZA referred to who he is and in the “Greek dream”, meritocracy, accountability, welfare state, rule of law, human rights, robust defense, moderate foreign policy.
However, he refused to answer the press questions for the intervention of Olga Gerovasilis on the iSYRIZA questionnaire and other internal party issues
In the speech when someone shouted at him “say it president” replied ”say it bro, the voice of the members above mine”. He also said in the speech that he gives the opportunity of political production to the members and at the end of the speech he invited everyone to answer the questionnaire. “I want everyone’s opinions,” he said. He also cut the king cake giving the wish that his grandmother gave him in Messolonghi, “our homeland, our place to be straightened”.
Today Monday at 2.30 pm Mr. Kasselakis has a closed working lunch with business and investment bodies (mainly financial). At 5 pm he meets the National Sunday Federation of the United Kingdom, at 6 the Archbishop of Thyatira and Great Britain Nikitas and at 8.30 he will hold a speech at LSE on the subject “The modern left for a progressive government”.
