Meeting with the president of the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee Michael Tuchin and the executives of the organization, the president of the Board of Directors Betsy Berns Korn, the elected next president Dr. Bernie Kaminetsky, the vice president of the Board of Directors Eliot Brandt and the director of International Affairs Stephen Schneider, who are visiting Greece, were, today, the Minister of National Defense Nikos Dendias.

General Dimitrios Houpis, the head of the GEETHA, also participated in the meeting.
“We exchanged views on the security situation in the wider region and the developments in Gaza, following the terrorist attack by Hamas on October 7, against Israel,” the minister said in a post on X.
“It was underlined”, he adds, “that every possible effort must be made to strengthen and continue the flow of humanitarian aid and to protect the lives of civilians”.
“We emphasized the importance of the strategic relationship between Greece and the US for security and stability in the Eastern Mediterranean” concludes Mr. Dendias.
