The president of SYRIZA-PS expressed his satisfaction with today’s (Monday) decision of the PETI petitions committee of the European Parliament after the hearing of Maria Karystianou, to keep the case of the Tempe accident open. Stefanos Kasselakis.

Specifically, according to a statement from Koumoundourou: “The president of SYRIZA PS, Stefanos Kasselakis, who was informed about the latest developments related to crime in Tempi, expressed to his colleagues his satisfaction and relief for today’s unanimous decision of the #PETI committee. According to the said decision, the report on the crime of Tempe will concern the competent committees of the European Parliament, TRAN and LIBE. As the president of SYRIZA – PS noted to his colleagues, the relatives of the victims are asking for justice and they will find it, but unfortunately far from their country”.

In a post on social media, SYRIZA-PS MEP Kostas Arvanitis says: “Great victory. Another step towards justice! The PETI committee unanimously decided that the report on the crime of Tempe be referred to the competent committees of the European Parliament”.
