Mr. Sotiropoulos stated that no question has been raised about the volatility of the postal vote
The lawyer who represents them, Vassilis Sotiropoulos, spoke on the show “Mismatches” on SKAI about the first lawsuits by emigrants against the State regarding the case of leaking personal data to the ND MEP, Anna Michelle Asimakopoulou.
Asked about this, Mr. Sotiropoulos said that the case concerns those registered in the 2023 electoral roll of foreign residents who voted at the consulates.
Asked if the case also concerns those registered for postal voting, Mr. Sotiropoulos answered positively, stressing however that the investigation concerns the 2023 lists. No question has been raised about the volatility of the postal vote.
Explaining the ongoing process, he said that “the legal synergies are being carried out in two directions, one of which is towards Ms. Asimakopoulou to whom we have sent extrajudicial statements asking for each of them separately to disclose where the emails came into their possession. The extrajudicial was served on March 5 and has a deadline of thirty days. She has said that she has given answers to the Personal Data Protection Authority.”
“We have also turned against the Greek State with individual lawsuits because it did not preserve the data, asking for compensation of 20.00 euros” concluded Mr. Sotiropoulos.
