Emergency traffic regulations are in effect today March 25th in Athens due to military parade that will start at 11:00 presence of state and political leadership.

At the same time, in Thessaloniki, as in every corner of the country, student parades will take place.

It is in effect from 6:00 a.m. until the end of the military parade

-Stadium, along its entire length.
-L. Syngrou, in the section between Am. Frantzis and Dionysiou Areopagitou in both (2) traffic streams.
-Academy, along its entire length.
-Ath. Diakou, along its entire length in both (2) traffic streams.
-Temporary and gradual stoppage of vehicular traffic, as well as a ban on stopping and parking from 06:00 on Monday 3-25-2024 until the end of the events at the -Holy Metropolitan Church of Athens, as follows:
-Metropolis, along its entire length and on its diagonals up to the first parallel street.
-Aeolou, in the section between Ermou and Hadrianou streets, as well as on its diagonals up to the first parallel street.
– Ermou, in the section between Pl. Asomatos and Aiolou street.

It is pointed out that on Monday 25-3-2024, student parades will be held in Municipalities of Attica during which the Traffic Police will take the necessary traffic measures.

In addition, there will be modifications to the routes of the Mass Transportation.

“Syntagma” metro station is closed

Syntagma metro stationby order of ELAS will be closed on Monday, March 25 from 8 am until the end of the parades and the trains will pass through it without stopping.

The tram routes on Line 6 “Pikrodafni-Syntagma” will temporarily have a terminal on Sunday, Monday 25/03 from the opening of the “Fix” stop until the end of the parades. On Line 7 “Kalamaki – Agia Triada Piraeus” on Monday 25/03 the routes will have a terminal station at the “Chef” stop from 9 am to 2 pm.
