To draw a red line between the tragic accident in Tempe and the political exploitation which – according to the government – is attempted by the opposition parties, the prime minister is expected to proceed tonight during his position on the motion of no confidence against the government. Heading towards the climax of the three-day parliamentary process, which will end with the roll-call vote on the proposal of the opposition parties, Kyriakos Mitsotakis is expected to give a cool assessment of what happened in relation to this train accident in the Tempo valley , and the reflexes shown by the state apparatus and the state, as well as for the manipulations that followed.

The prime minister – according to government officials – considers it self-evident the demand of the people who lost their loved ones, those who were injured, but also of the whole society to ask for answers and to expect the emergence of all the causes that caused the tragic accident and of course the punishment of the culprits . After all, this is the goal of the government, it is expected to repeat from the floor of the Parliament, from the first moment that the tragic accident happened in Tempe until the time when the Justice will complete its investigation and work and will decide on both the events as well as the persons who bear responsibilities.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis will make special mention of the Judiciary and its work, declaring his faith in the work of the judges who have taken on the heavy burden of clarifying the case. “I have absolute confidence in the Justice system,” the Prime Minister will emphasize, according to his colleagues, from the floor of the Plenary Session of the Parliament, pointing out his certainty that he will rise to the occasion, to demonstrate the truth, to investigate and answer all the statements , even the most extreme ones. “There should not be any shadow left that poisons public life and trust in the institutions” Mr. Mitsotakis is expected to declare while reminding, according to the same sources, that “we are all judged by it and no one is innocent in advance or guilty”.

The “great” opponent of Kyriakos Mitsotakis in today’s leading “parliamentary bra de fer” is expected to be the president of PASOK, Nikos Androulakis, who has stepped forward in this battle of the opposition against the government. After all, the face of Mr. Androulakis had a leading role in the shots fired by the governing majority throughout the debate on the motion of no confidence, and he will hold the same role against the Prime Minister who, attempting to interpret the motion of the motion of no confidence , will insist on the accusations against the president of PASOK of serving interests but also the parallel finding of political impasses of Harilaou Trikoupis who is unable to “raise his head” in the polls, seeing the political time until the European elections is pressing.

The Prime Minister’s target will of course be, despite his absence from the Parliament, the President of SYRIZA, Stefanos Kasselakis, mainly on the occasion of his call to the Prime Minister to resign and for elections to be held with international observers, provoking the message of Megaros Maximos , after questioning the integrity of the elections. The prime minister is expected to emphasize that no one has ever come to question the inviolability of the elections, and to identify Stefanos Kasselakis’ opinion and request with undermining the state itself, by the official opposition leader, underlining the danger of such extreme voices and opinions.
