“We need more moderation and sobriety, to put the language in the mind and to know in which environment we are”, he emphasized on the occasion of the proposal of the president of SYRIZA St. Kasselakis for double elections, Mr Minister of State Akis Skertsos speaking on the show “Today” on SKAI.

“Unfortunately Mr. Kasselakis has come from heaven in a political environment that, for 50 years, has conquered political stability and regularity, the immutability of elections, and this is not only said by us as a government, it is said by the judicial associations, the bar associations that have the constitutional authority to supervise the elections”, noted Mr. Skertsos.

Responding to Mr. Kasselakis’s statement regarding the placement of international observers during the elections, he said that “what he brought as a proposal to have international observers come, Mr. Kasselakis did not know, but in every election they exist.”

When asked why the president of SYRIZA made this proposal, he argued that “Mr. Kasselakis has the Polaki soul and he says things every day that even Mr. Tsipras, who is characterized by populism, did not dare to utter.”

On the subject of Tempes he said that it is “a trauma for all of us and I am accountable every day so that the truth is given”.

In the complaints about “editing’ and cover-up’ he said that “justice will prove this”

Regarding the release of those involved in the Tempe tragedy, Mr. Skertsos said that “I cannot judge the decisions of the judiciary”.
