“In such a sensitive matter as that of the Tempe accident, we have a duty to present the truth and only that,” said the government spokesman
The war of announcements between the government and SYRIZA continues with the government representative, Pavlos Marinakis, returning to the “full of false announcement” issued by SYRIZA.
As Pavlos Marinakis states in his post on Facebook: “In my interview today on ERT television and on the show “Connections”, when asked about the subject of the infamous “editing”, I answered verbatim: “Here we are talking about an issue which is “non-issue”, as to the essence of the Tempe issue”.
In other words, I reiterated the self-evident fact that there is no question of editing, that is, of altering information with the aim of misleading the citizens.
SYRIZA, according to its usual vulgar tactics, issued another announcement with a misleading title full of lies, in which it claims that I allegedly called the Tempe tragedy a “non-issue”.
The worst thing is that some Media did not even bother to listen to my interview and uncritically adopted the content of the despicable SYRIZA announcement.
Mud on the fan is a tactic that the main opposition party has used regularly – with known results.
All the rest, however, especially in such a sensitive matter as that of the Tempe accident, we have a duty to project the truth and only that.”
