heavy characterizations, personal attacks and recriminations included the menu of the fierce conflict that unfolded in the Plenary Session of the Parliament between the Minister of Health Adonis Georgiadis and the president of the Hellenic Solution, Kyriakos Velopoulos.

The confrontation between the two men, which started on the occasion of the debate in the Parliament on the bill of the Ministry of Health, quickly took on personal dimensions, with Adonis Georgiadis responding to the characterizations of Mr. Velopoulos: “Who knows better than me how much you begged Antonis Samaras in 2014 to become a candidate for MEP. Let the people know that you are not in New Democracy because Samaras cut you off. You did the show to make fun of people. You can’t make fun of me, I doubt if you had a friend on the train, probably a lie too. To me you will speak respectfully, because I know you well – well, so you will be careful. You were begging and they cut you off, and now you have to become a leader.”

Kyriakos Velopoulos, raised the gauntlet by calling Adonis Georgiadis “system carrier”. “I refused Antonis Samaras to come down. You won’t lay a finger on me. Because when they spit on you, you think it’s raining. The man who begs and hugs any leader to come down. ND is a disgrace to the Right I could not believe I would go to this party. You are a slanderer and a system licker,” stressed the president of the Hellenic Solution.

In the Plenary Hall, however, intense discomfort was caused due to the political confrontation, as the personal answers between the two men, theled to long delays in the placements of MPs. In fact, when he took the stage o Alexis Haritsis, he said that their personal matters had to be resolved outside and spoke of the degeneration of the process.
