From yesterday’s triumph Olympiakou the co-founder of the “KOSMOS” party could not fail to start, Petros Kokkalis, who conveyed his congratulations to the president, the players and of course the whole world of the “red and whites” for the conquest of Conference League.

Regarding the battle of European elections and the risk of abstention, Mr. Kokkalis commented that the world has a great distrust towards the “ruling elites”, which must be addressed, in order to “show that Europe has a strong social face”.

“The crucial question is about the alliance formed between Ms von der Leyen, Ms Le Pen and Ms Meloni. There is a risk that we will see a Europe of States and not of the European Union, a much harsher, racist and misogynist Europe”, he underlined, adding for his own faction:

“We are a new party, we have fought an honest fight, with the aim of bringing more green to Greece and Europe. For me, the progressive alliance between Socialists, Leftists, Greens and Liberals is particularly crucial.”

In a question about eventuality cooperation by SYRIZA and the Stefanos Kasselakisreplied that “I may have said it doesn’t suit me, but that doesn’t mean we can’t work together,” while declaring that “the country needs a robust and sober opposition.”

“It is obvious that the country is unarmored and that our entire infrastructure is unprepared to deal with what we know is coming. We have 52 degrees in New Delhi of 32 million, Mexico sustains itself with 20 million people without water. So instead of skyrocketing profits for a few, we have to skyrocket profits for everyone.”

Finally, Mr. Kokkalis also referred to Social Fund for the Climatewhich amounts to 4.7 billion euros for Greece, “with the aim of supporting the transition of the most vulnerable, those who cannot enter the “Excogano” or cannot buy electric cars”.

“It is not much, but it is targeted to cover the increase in the price of coal. There is no planning yet, just as there is no planning neither for the management of the Recovery Fund resources, nor for the reconstruction of the affected areas, such as Thessaly and Evros”, he concluded.
