Greece carried out an exercise with Israel, which is committing genocide in Gaza, the Turkish media reports, as reported by Manolis Kostidis from Istanbul
Hamas is defending Anatolia, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in new statements against Israel and Netanyahu, whom he describes as a barbarian, a thug and a bloodthirsty bandit.
“Just as our ancestors protected Palestine, now we take a stand as a sign of honor,” he added, as Manolis Kostidis broadcasts from Istanbul.
Erdogan said: “We know very well that our Palestinian brothers and sisters are fighting a difficult, important and heroic struggle. Hamas and the Palestinian people are not only defending their land, they are also defending Anatolia against the delusion of the Promised Land. A ‘stop’ must be said to this barbarian, this thug, this bloodthirsty bandit called Netanyahu, who is dragging our region and the whole world along with his country into a great disaster. Just like our forefathers, who protected Palestine with glory and honor for four centuries, we want to leave a stance that our children will hold as a sign of honor. That’s why we fight at all costs.”
Turkish Media: Greece held an exercise with Israel which is committing genocide in Gaza
“Israeli flying tankers in the south of Crete carried out aerial refueling of Greek F-16s”
“And while the whole world is reacting to Israel because of the massacre and genocide it is doing in Gaza, a news came from Greece that caused reactions. Greece carried out a military exercise with the Armed Forces of Israel, which has been carrying out massacres in Gaza for months. In the south of Crete, an aerial refueling exercise took place. On the one hand massacre, on the other military exercise. The Armed Forces of Israel, which continue the attacks against civilians in Gaza, carried out joint exercises with Greece. In the exercise, an Israeli flying tanker did aerial refueling to the Greek F-16s. The two flying tankers entered the Greek FIR last Monday, and departed on Tuesday after completing the exercise that took place in the south of Crete.”
“We conceded to Greece. We did everything Greece asked, that’s why we have good relations”
Claim of a well-known Turkish journalist: “We don’t say anything about the islands illegally occupied by Greece and militarized”
Fatih Altai, journalist: “We are not talking about the islands in the Aegean that Greece owns, that Greece is militarizing. Umit Yalim, the former ambassador and former secretary general of Turkey’s National Security Council, writes about it. We have accepted the fait accompli and the de facto situations that Greece has created regarding the islands.
We seem to have abandoned the exploration activities in the oil and gas fields, which we call the hydrocarbon fields around Cyprus, and our claim that the underground wealth around Cyprus is the common property of the two communities.
We no longer repeat this claim. We withdrew our military activity in the area and ended oil and gas exploration and drilling activities in the area. There is nothing to cause tension with Greece. We did almost everything Greece wanted and made every kind of concession. As Jihad Yaji said, since we tacitly accepted the Seville map, to which we strongly objected, Greece has nothing to say to us. We don’t tell them anything. We have good relations.”
