Young Minister of Development and Investments takes over Takis Theodorikakoswho returns to the government scheme, now having in his portfolio to deal with the major issue of accuracy.

Takis Theodorikakos was born in 1964 in Piraeus and graduated from the Lyceum of the Ionideu Model School. Political researcher, analyst and consultant, from 2000 to 2016 he was a scientific partner and president of the company GPO SA.

He holds a doctorate in public policy at the University of Peloponnese, where until June 2019 he taught at the School of Social and Political Sciences. A graduate of the Pedagogical Department of EKPA, he completed his Master’s studies at the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of EKPA in political science and sociology, specializing in electoral sociology.

Mr. Theodorikakos had served as Strategy and Communication Advisor to the President of ND since October 2015 and Coordinator of Strategic Planning and Communication of the party from October 2016 until the victorious election contests of May and July 2019.

In July 2019, he was appointed by the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Minister of the Interior, while in August 2021, he was appointed Minister of Citizen Protection. In the 2023 elections, he was elected Member of Parliament B3 of the South Sector of Athens
