Today, everyone’s eyes are on the speech of Alexis Tsipras at the closing of the Conference on the views he will express on the future of the center-left in Greece, the election result, but also on SYRIZA.

The space of the center-left is “boiling”. In SYRIZA and PASOK the discussions for the next day are in full swing, while in Harilaou Trikoupi they have come to a standstill a few twenty-four hours after June 9. The European elections have accelerated the developments and everyone is now waiting for the time when Nikos Androulakis will lead his party to the polls.
This is not expected to be done at the Political Council on Wednesday, but at the Central Committee which will take place at the end of the month.
The president of PASOK he left no room for those who have rushed to question him. The party has now split into two. Introversion has knocked on the movement’s door for good, and the polls are a one-way street. “I will accept neither resalta nor adventures. Everything will be done with respect to our statutory procedures. We have instruments and statutes, we are not a jungle. We will not return to the times of discord and discredit, I will not allow it”, said Nikos Androulakis to ERT and added: “After the Central Committee, where we will make collective decisions, anyone who comes out with toxic speech and discord will stay out of PASOK” .
Nikos Androulakis, with the “weapon” of deletions, described the chaotic situation currently prevailing in Harilaou Trikoupi. The next few days are crucial mainly for the ferments made by the would-be new leaders. Will there be many nominations or will a union of forces advance against Nikos Androulakis?
The equation is also difficult for SYRIZA. The first day of the Alexis Tsipras Conference looked like a “reunion”. The party as it was a year ago was at the Athens Conservatory. The overwhelming majority of the parliamentary group was present, while the New Left was also together for the first time after a long time with its former partners. The atmosphere between them was not hostile and everything showed yesterday that the former prime minister managed to unite them.
The president of SYRIZA did not attend the discussion that the former prime minister had with Zoran Zaev about the Prespa Agreement because of his interview with ANT1.
The internal party “Beauforts” in Koumoundourou are not saying to stop. Thanasis Theocharopoulos in his statement complained that he was informed by the MP Yota Poulos that the cooperation he had with the SYRIZA parliamentary group ceases to be valid by order of Stefanos Kasselakis. He linked his dismissal as a scientific partner to the proposal he made for a referendum in SYRIZA in order to advance the collaboration in the progressive space. Stefanos Kasselakis, interviewed, denied that it was a vindictive move and referred to the general renewal that is underway in the party. From Koumoundourou, they emphasized that she occupied the position of a scientific collaborator without having ever provided any work, as a result of which the member of parliament with whom she collaborated had difficulty in carrying out her duties. However, things seem to have gotten out of control. According to information, Yiannis Ragoussis said to Admiral Vangelis Apostolakis in front of those present during the break of the Conference: “well bro Vangelis, is it possible for Kasselakis to fire Theocharopoulos because he expressed his political opinion?”. At the time, a SYRIZA member of parliament reportedly stated that he was also informed by the press, with Mr. Ragousis replying that “it’s a shame, it’s disgraceful and you should tell him I told you so”, meaning that his message should be conveyed to Stefanos Kasselakis.
