“Both were honored by our party with their election to the presidency and by the Greek people, elected prime ministers. They have freedom of speech and can express their opinions,” said the Minister of Health
Invited today to the Nonconformists of the SKAI, the Minister of Health Adonis Georgiadis refused to comment on the harsh criticism launched yesterday by Antonis Samaras at the Mitsotakis government and the speech of Kostas Karamanlis at the presentation of the book by Manolis Kottakis “The secret files of Karamanlis”, in the Military Museum
“Frankly, I always say the same thing: It would be arrogant and insulting of me to comment on the statements or opinions of Karamanlis and Samaras because both of them were honored by our party with their election to the presidency of the party and by the Greek people , elected prime ministers. They have freedom of speech and can express their opinions. I never comment.”
In the context of a general discussion – and not commenting on the statements of Antonis Samaras at yesterday’s event, the minister repeated his opinion that “the same-sex couple bill politically damaged New Democracy”.
Adonis Georgiadis described as “untimely” the debate about whether New Democracy received the message of the European elections and emphasized that Greece has a stable, elected government which – if in the next 3 years of office – it solves the people’s problems – it does not have to fear nothing.”
