“Collaborations must be built every day, with a plan and method,” initially said Mrs. Avgeri, who, when asked if SYRIZA had money to give to its online trolls instead of “Avgi” workers, replied that the SYRIZA’s finances are characterized by transparency and are in the open through transparent procedures.

With reference to political collaborations, she underlined that SYRIZA must be the leading force of the progressive space, otherwise “you cannot participate in any such discussion”, while at the same time she reiterated her support for the president of the official opposition, Stefanos Kasselakis. “He is a president elected by the base of the party and indeed with a strong mandate,” he said.

When asked about the result of the European elections, Mrs. Augeri emphasized that she does not consider the result bad for SYRIZA, however “she would expect there to be a “2” in front”, as she characteristically stated. “I think some things happened that took away that percentage and that momentum, the path we’re going to take in the next period of time has to be characterized by unity,” he said.
