The president of PASOK was appointed for accuracy, health as well as for the elections for the new president of the party
The president of PASOK – KINAL, Nikos Androulakis, described the energy planning of the country as “tragically wrong” regarding electricity prices and the meeting held in Maximos, speaking on the program “Mismatches” on SKAI.
“Prices are soaring as the country is heavily dependent on natural gas and has a grid shortage. We are long overdue for the storage conditions to be activated so that we can use RES during some hours of the day when power is not being produced. The taxation of excess profits must be a permanent mechanism. Subsidies to small and medium enterprises, as we have learned, they will ask for them back because they were given in the wrong way. The market should not operate as oligopolies because they create conditions of obscene profit,” said the president of PASOK, among other things
In fact, VAT too
Mr. Androulakis, on the occasion of the example of Spain that reduced the VAT so that the products would not increase rapidly, noted that “probably Mr. Mitsotakis is lying to confirm his refusal to reduce the VAT on basic goods” and added that in the direction this, his party proposed the creation of a single consumer authority.
For the shortage of doctors
Mr. Androulakis said, among other things, that Greece and Bulgaria pay the most money than other countries in the EU for health. “The Recovery Fund was not used for infrastructure and recruitment,” he underlined.
Asked to comment on the statement of H. Doukas that “friendship is not slavery” he replied that friendship is something extraordinary in life which has bigger surprises. I’m moving forward and I don’t regret anything,” he said characteristically and added: “my priority was that PASOK not be crushed. We built on solid foundations, PASOK is not a pole that follows, but autonomous with a program for all issues. I am optimistic that by stepping in this way, he will rule the place. ND has failed to reform the state.”
For party elections
“I have no anxiety because I have asked the people to evaluate me other times,” Mr. Androulakis emphasized, calling on those who are candidates regardless of who wins “to stay the next day and support the party. I want everyone to be consistent and commit to being PASOK MP candidates”, concluded the PASOK president.
