Thirteen days left until the crucial one meeting of the Central Committee of SYRIZA on September 7-8 and the facts are constantly changing. Pavlos Polakis seems ready from the statement he made in Documento on Sunday to claim the leadership of SYRIZA, although he has not completely opened his papers. The time remaining is crucial for the decisions he will make, as from the side of Stefanos Kasselakis it is clear that such a scenario is to be avoided. Two former allies and the “general” of the president’s victory to face him in the leadership claim. Something like this turns everything upside down and certainly puts SYRIZA on new adventures. The October statutory conference at this time appears to be up in the air.
